University of Texas Austin Football
The University of Texas at Austin is central to a lot that happens around town, and especially when it's football season. Though, seriously, that stadium is downright huge and amazing, no matter who you root for. Austin fully embraces its identity as a college town, and things around campus are always lively and interesting, if not straight up weird. Keep Austin Weird is the city's mantra, after all. UT's iconic tower is one of the most recognizable figures in Austin's skyline, and you can go see for yourself. Head up to the 30th floor observation deck for a view that's really something to behold. Plus, the Blanton Museum of Art on UT's campus is another great way to experience some more of the Austin arts scene.
Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt is 2.3 miles from Texas Memorial Stadium. Taxi’s, Ride Shares are available as well as parking at the stadium should you prefer to drive.
