The Hotel Van Zandt is a 100% non-smoking hotel. There are no smoking rooms available at the hotel.

Yes! In-room dining is available daily. Breakfast is available from 6 am to 11 am and dinner is from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

No, but we do offer printing services on property.

Yes, we have a heated, all-season pool surrounded by an urban oasis with shaded cabanas letting you soak up the scene. At night, glowing fire elements bring a camp-firey intimacy and temperature-controlled comfort to the whole scene. It all makes for a real downtown Austin retreat.

Yes. A $27.95 ($32 with tax) daily guest amenity fee will be applied per room per day. This fee covers:

  • Upgraded Wi-Fi throughout public spaces and guestrooms for up to five devices.
  • Welcome beverages at check-in.
  • $10 food and beverage credit to be used at Geraldine’s, The Pool Deck, or In-Room Dining.
  • 24-hour access to the fitness center, Pelotons, and any wellness classes offered during your stay.
  • Printing services.
  • Unlimited calls during your stay.
Transportation

Yes, we offer valet parking. The pricing (excluding taxes) is as follows:

  • Overnight: $56 + tax
  • Hourly:
    • 0-3: $30 + tax
    • 3-6: $40 + tax
    • 6+: $56 + tax

Geraldine’s:

  • Valet pricing for Geraldine’s will be $12 for up to 3 hours. After 3 hours, standard hourly rates apply.

Yes, pets are accepted! There are no weight, height or type restrictions.

Reservations

Some rooms can accommodate rollaway beds, with an additional fee of $25 per night.

In this situation, you would have to contact the customer service department at the website you used to make your reservation.

The hotel’s standard cancellation policy is 72 hours (*please note some reservation bookings may have different cancellation penalties — review your confirmation or itinerary for more details). Reservations must be canceled by 6:00pm local hotel time.

We do require a photo ID at time of check-in for all reservations.

Yes. The hotel does charge an early departure fee of up to one night’s room and tax for departing the hotel early.

Accounting

We require a credit card to guarantee a reservation, however, payment by travelers check, credit/debit card or cash upon departure is allowed. Please note the hotel does not accept check payments at this time. Debit card users please note that when presenting your debit card upon check-in, our computer system holds an amount on your account equal to the amount of room, taxes, and an estimated $200 per night authorization on your bank account immediately. Any amount not used upon departure will be credited back to your bank account and may take several days to appear on your balance. (Times vary due to processing of our computer system transaction being accepted by your individual bank).
